Artist Statement

I paint from memory, sharing my experiences visually through contemporary landscapes. My visual voice consists of a singular brushstroke in vivid color on black canvas. Just as the light shines in the darkness, my work reveals the effects of light and darkness in the landscape, capturing the emotion of the memory while telling a story.
